There are four FireWire 800 (1394b) Master/Slave Initio Bridge boards.Back Panel of Lexusbay-MR8 contains 8X 9-pin firewire 800 (1394b) ports and 1X 6-pin firewire 400 cable adapter(1394a). Each Master/Slave Initio BridgeBoard connects with two mobile racks. You can connect Initio Board to a different FireWire host controller to increase the data transferring speed. Or, you can Daisy Chain all board with supplied 3x 8inch. 9-pin cables and connect a single cable to your system. Also a unique single 6-pin firewire port is provided so you may use all 8xtrays on a single firewire 400(1394a) machine (until you upgrade to fireiwre 800).
